2020 approx. 2.54 billion litres of bottled water were consumed in the UK. Average cost of bottled water £0.65 per litre. Average cost of tap water £0.001 per litre. NHS recommend drinking 6 – 8 glasses a day. This equates to approx. 2 litres a day which from the tap costs on average £0.73 per year!
