Pen and Quill

A writers and editorial area in which content can be draughted, amended and polished for display on other sites. Originating as an experiment called "Green Park" for ~~environemtal~~ environmental issues - the experiment concluded years ago, but the concept works well - this board is being repurposed and I'm planning to use it to feed into other sites.

The "Pen and Quill" will be open to Transport Scholars (and their ranks include moderators and admins) to ~~contibure~~ contribute to just as "How Stuff Works" is. However, the content of each thread will be available in public through an API so that I (and others) can share the lead article from each thread to a wider audience. There is a degree of further experimentation and development to be done here - my initial project being for the Melksham Transport User Group where a major newsletter is overdue and the various articles may best be "fed" though a medium on which edits and experience can be easily fed in.

[color=red]P.S. - the long name is "The Pen, Quill and Keyboard" as this area is intended to become useful for keyboard contributors to social media feeds and websites ... primarily I'll be using it as a tool of feed the Melksham Transport User Group and wider area transport groups but I'll be able to provide a public interface for others to tap into it too. While content is being written, the "Pen and Quill" content is not public - that way articles will be able to be licked into shape and held here until the embargo is released [/color]
